Rich is in our good friend Hal's wedding in a couple of weeks and I put together a basket for the shower...which was weeks ago...but, I wanted to show the cute things I did to add some personality! The bag topper flowers and the lil' card flowers were made with pages from some old books (that were to be tossed from a used book store). The candle was done using our newest CTMH alphabet - "Trinity Alphabet" and I used misc other CTMH papers! OH! and to save money on basket filler I also used our shredder to shred pages from the same book! Recycle BABY!!
Join me and see the new Fall/Winter Idea Book...new product...
and the new CRICUT cartridge!!

So, I saw these really cute flower ideas on Brenda Frerich's blog and had to try this one. I decided to spray my colonial white punchs with vineyard berry re-inker and then painted them with the prisma glitter/shimmer paint mix. I love how it turned out - it looks really pretty in person. I used the leftover paint mix to stamp butterflies on the background paper (hard to see in the picture). Thanks Brenda!!
I had a really nice day on Saturday and want to thank Tina, Cookie and my Mom for coming and working on their projects with me! I also want to thank Judy, Rhonda & Janis for coming by and shopping and hanging out with us - what a fun day! I even got some work done! I put together the new "You & Me" May promo kit - which is very nice...and I filled in some of our WOTG pages and my pages I did at convention last summer! I didn't have enough room for all the pictures on my Hooligans WOTG so I added a flip flap - LOVE IT! Hope you like!
May is national scrapbooking month and
to celebrate CTMH has a beautiful layout kit
that you can purchase for $15 with a $50 purchase OR you can purchase for $34.95 OR you can receive FREE when you become a consultant this month. BECAUSE in addition to this great promotional - CTMH is also offering new consultants who sign up in May - a consultant kit for only $64.50, thats 1/2 off!!
This offer will not come around again, so don't miss out! I made my kit this weekend and LOVE it!!!
I made these 6x6 accordion albums for my mom and mother-in-law as a gift at my baby shower. They turned out soo cute - and now the grandma's have a place to put all of their pictures!!
I used Tinkerin paper and stickease, and Animal Cookies paper and stickease.
I heard a cool statement the other day and wrote it on the mirror in our dining room. You can't go out the front door without seeing it (which is dreadful right now..seeing my bulging prego belly sooo frequently, lol!). I tend to use this mirror for chores and reminders, but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to reach my children...and myself.
"People see what you do...God sees why you do it"
Makes you stop and think, huh? Why do we do the things we do...especially the "nice" or "thoughtful" things we do?? Are we doing it to truly bless someone, or to say "look at me"? I am trying to remember that what I do has a purpose and/or a consequence. What do I want God to see? others? What does it say about who I want to be? My hope is to be a good friend, an inspirational teacher in my classes....and a wife and mother that makes sure my children and husband never go a day without knowing how much I love them.
