sTaMp-A-PaLoOzA Workshop 2/18 6:30pm

Hi girls! I acutally got done our projects early...For the first card we're using Veranda paper, "So Lucky" stamp set, Garden Green & Juniper inks and paper. (make a wish stem is from "Treasures"). The second card is using the "diaper/cup" fold technique and the newest thing I learned - emboss resist! So cool - your going to love it! We're using veranda paper for that too, and paper bloom & the "So Sweet" Stamp of the Month.

My valentines gift!!

The hubby and I had a deal to only make our gifts this year...you saw what I did for him (I bought him cologne too!) Well, this is what he made for me! (I got chocolates too!)I only mentioned this in passing, and girls, he was listening!!! I got my very own light box for taking my pictures! I love this man!!

Valentine Countdown - Day 14

Well, this one was the big one. This gift was for my wonderful hubby. The one person in my life who really values all of my creative endeavors! I made this card for him, knowing he would love its "corniness". The box was done with much love...and at times, frustration.

I used: Card: Back Country CTMH paper, chipboard, "Backwoods" & "Bee Mine" stamp set. Box: Black, white & hollyhock CTMH paper. Silver & clear embossing, "Posterboard Alpha", "You Rock", "Fieldtrip Alpha" & "So Lucky" stamp sets. I'm sure I missed some stuff...

Valentines Countdown - Day 13

These candy sliders are for my kids. My daughter loved that book - I love you forever, so that one is her's and my son truly "rocks".

I used: CTMH cardstock & inks. "Love You Forever" & "You Rock" stamp sets.

So you missed the Cupcake workshop....

Well, we missed you at the workshop too! I forgot my camera - along with my brain - so the only picture I have is of my cupcake and card. Thanks Kim, Michele, Teresa and Edwina for coming out in the cold, snowy night to make cupcakes (and eat real ones too!).

Valentines Countdown - Day 12

Okay, so I "cheezed" it out a little bit, but I have a workshop tonight and I have a lot left to do! So, I made these quick treats for my school bus kids - they won't even notice the stamping...trust me! lol

Valentine Countdown - Day 11

Well, I can't really take all the credit for these. My 9 year old daughter came up with the idea when looking through a Oriental Trading catalog. She did the stamping, I did the cutting and some gluing and her Papi (my amazing DH) did the stapling! The blow-up guitars are really cute!

I really love how this turned out! I used: Library Card stamp set, heart punch, Classmates Alpha, Animal Cookies and Tulip paper...oh! and a clear button!

Countdown to Valentines - Day 9

Kinda sick of reds & pinks...went with Vineyard Berry, Garden Green and Juniper. Used some Veranda paper and "New" One of a Kind stamp set. (I did break down and add a heart...)

Valentine Countdown- Day 8

Hey Cupcake! Love this cupcake stamp set. I used it with some topstitch, heavenly blue and chocolate paper. I clear embossed the cupcake stamping for some shine. This made me hungry for sweets!

Valentine Countdown - Day 7

I used Topstitch paper, stamp set from Topstitich WOTG, colonial white metal accent with chocolate rub ons...that's about it! I hope you like it!

Valentine Countdown - Day 6

Okay...here is day 6! I used Perfect Day paper (one of my fav's), Jan. SOM and a dimensional heart inked with tulip. I love to sew cards - doesn't it just take it a step cooler! Thanks for looking.

Countdown to Valentines Day #5

My first easel card! It was fun to make, will definitely be trying it again. I used the Topstitch paper, the WOTG Topstitch stamps, Chocolate and Blush cardstock!

Well, I don't LOVE it, but I've been promising myself I would use my cricut more...I used Perfect Day paper (with Tulip and Sorbet) and stamped the background with Heartthrob.

Sorry this is late! I made it yesterday and got so caught up in being "mom's taxi" I forgot to get it on! I used Love Birds, heart dimensionals (with some liquid glass for shine) and CTMH papers (chocolate, crystal blue). Thanks for looking!

14 Days of Valentines

Topstitch Tri-fold album

When I saw this tri-fold album I had to try it! I wanted to make something girlie for my bff to use for her girls pictures and the Topstitch paper was perfect! The album was really easy to cut and assemble - the hard part was adding all the embellishments (I'm too obsessive at times!). I just hope she likes it!

What I've been up to...

Well, I guess my creative juices are flowing again. With the pressure of the holidays, craft shows and workshops off me for a little bit, I decided to do some projects I've been saving. This is one of them - Cool, Huh! This bag ideas is lovingly lifted from an amazingly talented woman, Pamela O'Connor - you have to check out her blog! She didn't have many instructions on the blog, because the info was no longer available, but I went with what she had and...well, Voila!

It holds my book, wallet, sunglasses, keys and afternoon snack quite well!

I used: (NEW) Vernada papers, Posterboard Alpha, stamps from "Felicity" paper pack, bag handles from Jo***, self-laminating sheets from Wal****.

3 x 3 Card Box

I thought you all would like to see the 3 x 3 card box I made for my sister for her birthday last month. It's going off into the mail today (I am really slow at getting to the post office!).

You Rock card and calendar

The new "You Rock" paper pack from CTMH is soooo cool! The best part is, you can use it for a girl or boy. The coaster calendar I made for my rockin' neice and the card was for a boy in my daughters class - it held a gift card perfect! We plan on using them to make Valentines for her class too! I used liquid glass on the guitar, you rock and the 365 to make them pop!

Back to life...

Well, the snow day yesterday was nice, but its even better to be back to normal. I was hoping to do tons of creatin' over the break, but unfortunately the best laid plans...yadda yadda. I did sit down at my newly cleaned work area yesterday and played with some stamp sets I have yet to crack open...

Hope you enjoy...not thrilled with how the date book turned out. The cupcake box is a pre-made box from a local craft store with layered paper flowers and gathered ribbon. I love the new Topstitch paper and the Grown with Love stamp set!

Why we stayed home today...

We decided that since our road looked like this (pic 1) and it took over an hour to shovel the driveway (pic 2 - Devin's working other shovel), and the "beast" is covered in snow...we should just stay home. Oh, how lovely is the snow!

Stressed Yet?

Are you stressed yet? 11 days till Christmas. If your like our family and have to celebrate on days other than Christmas, you could be quite confused. I need some gifts done by Dec. 20, all the kids by Dec. 24 (that's our Christmas morning this year), some not till Dec. 27 and still have to find time to celebrate Devin's birthday(we're going ice skating this year!).
Even with it being so hectic at times, I still want to take the time to do something just for me! We deserve it, right? Well, if you didn't answer yes, you should have....

I recently came across this great little box that holds 4 cards (with envelopes). Vicki Wizniuk has the coolest stuff on her blog - check it out! I used the upcoming sales promotion from CTMH called "Felicity Collection" and misc. ribbons, brads and buttons. Hope you like it!
